Iβve always loved the idea of aging gracefully.
β
I remember admiring naturally beautiful, healthy, wise, confident, radiant older women as a kid (thinkΒ @yazemeenah). These ladies just had a mesmerizing grace about them, I thought to myself βI want to be like them when Iβm older!β
β
To me, aging gracefully means:
β
β½ π»πππππ π πππ ππ γ°οΈ Accepting myself for the perfectly imperfect human being that I am. This is a moment-by-moment choice that requires effort & self-awareness.
β
β½ Embracing the physical body Iβve been given instead of undergoing aesthetic procedures altering the parts of myself I feel insecure about. Authentic confidence is the aim of the game.
β
β½ Committing to a grounding daily practice of mindfulness-based stress-management, self-ππππ & gratitude.
β
β½ Going back to basics with lifestyle choices…thereβs no substitute for: quality sleep, nutritious food, moving thy booty, stretching, stillness (meditation), nature & music healing, exercising the brain with consistent learning of new things & problem-solving, mindfulness, surrounding oneself with quality company, and making fun a top priority. #ππππππππππ’
β
Iβd love to live in a world where aging gracefully is honored & celebrated.
β
Remember,
You are beautiful.
You are worthy.
You are enough by design.
Donβt let anyone convince you otherwise.
